We At Lahon organization are incredibly proud to announce the distribution of financial grants as part of the first batch of our pioneering project, "Socio-Economic Empowerment and Livelihood Enhancement for Women in Northern Iraq"
This project is generously supported by ASB and funded by the German organization ADH, both actively contributing to women's empowerment and building a better future.
After three months of intensive vocational training, during which our participating women demonstrated unparalleled dedication and diligence, it's time to reap the rewards. These grants will serve as a strong launchpad for income-generating entrepreneurial ventures, helping these women build a better future for themselves, their families, and their communities.
This achievement is a testament to the power of determination and perseverance, and our firm belief that women's empowerment is the cornerstone of building prosperous and stable societies.

Butterflies Podcast
This is a 12-episode podcast aimed at empowering girls with reproductive and mental health knowledge. Each episode features a guest speaker, such as a doctor, educational counselor, or social worker, to discuss adolescent girls' reproductive and sexual health, as well as mental health. The content is presented in a simple and easy-to-understand manner.
WOMEN UP
This is a live radio program broadcast on Mosul Hona Radio station in Mosul. The program targeted the community in Nineveh Governorate, addressing the most pressing challenges and issues faced by women in this diverse society. It also featured prominent figures working in the field of women's rights.
Production of 12 video episodes
These videos focused on key provisions of Iraqi law related to women's rights.
TEEN UP Initiative
This initiative consists of a series of short videos targeting adolescents of both genders, as well as parents. The videos discuss modern parenting techniques and effective ways to interact with teenagers
